2nd March 2016

In 2016 we were proud to introduce to Collievale this lovely young man from Australia. We are very thankful to Sandra and Ian Wallace of Strathaven Collies for letting Atlas come to New Zealand.

Throughout 2016 we had a wonderful time showing this young puppy and making new friends along the way.

Atlas turned 1 year old in March 2017 and at the end of the month he gained that all important challenge over the age of 1 year old to be recognised as a New Zealand Champion. Along with Baby, Minor and Puppy in Group wins along the way he recently was awarded Junior in Group even though we are now into the dreaded Junior age an the resulting coat drop. Dominion Collie Club held their 50th Anniversary Shows where Mr Brett Farrell from Australia awarded him Junior in Show and Personality in Show.

We love this boy more and more as time goes by. His personality is what all collies should be like. He loves everything and everyone. Wants to be the centre of attention and lets you know if he thinks he is being ignored. He makes us laugh often with his antics and we hope he will always be the same.

Throughout 2018 he was consistently Best Dog when we showed and always gave his all. A few Intermediate of Groups too for good measure. 2019 and he has now turned 3 years old and moved up to the 'Adult' (Open) class! Not that he will ever grow up I suspect.
