 Welcome to New Zealand another Cathkin collie. Not a planned addition to our kennels but we jumped at the opportunity to welcome a daughter of Australian Supreme Champion Cathkin Howzat (Howie). Howie is a gorgeous dog who has continuously proven himself in the show ring with multiple awards at both Specialty and All Breeds levels.

Maudie arrived here in August 2017 and at the beginning of October we began showing her. Her second show in NZ was the Waikato & Districts Collie Club show in Auckland under judge Christina Chapman (UK) where she was awarded Best inShow! There were no critiques done at the show but following the show Christina told us that if she had been critiquing Maudie's critique would have been one word, 'Wow'. We could not ask for better.

To her breeder Gaye Jones (Cathkin Collies) and her owner Sharon Power (Shanelg Collies) we say a very big 'Than you' for allowing Maudie to come to New Zealand and be part of Collievale Collies.

8 Challenges in 8 shows and Maudie qualified for the title of NZ Champion. She is such fun to show and we look forward to what 2018 will bring.
