Xena has come to
New Zealand from Cathkin Kennels in
NSW Australia, bred by Gaye Jones. Samson had a long
life with us here and Xena has big shoes to fill following on from him.
Arriving just one
week before the 2014 National Dog Show she wowed everyone and hit the ground
running winning Best Bitch from the Baby Puppy Class in a lovely line up of
bitches. She has gone on to achieve 7 challenge certificates and 3 Puppy of
Group awards before the end of 2014.
After time out to
have a change of coat we are once again campaigning this girl who easily got her
final challenge to be awarded the title of New Zealand Champion.

At the recent Waikato &
District Collie Club shows Xena was awarded Junior in Show by Glenn Gregory
(NSW) at the first show then Graham Saltiel (Waikato) awarded her Reserve Best
in Show at the second show.

Critique - Pretty, well
presented sable & white, nicely balanced head just needs to clear in stop, good
skull, very good ears, very sweet eye and expression, good neck, very good
shoulder, strong legs, tidy feet, good depth of chest, good length of back,
thighs well developed, good rear construction. Very sound on the move and
lovely temperament.
