Micah

Ch Collievale Lady Howzat

17th June 2021

Early on in our plans when Maudie came to be part of our kennels, I had an idea for a mating that I hoped would be special. It took a while for that plan to become a reality but from it we kept Micah. The name Lady Howzat was a tribute to her wonderful grandsire Cathkin Howzat (Howie) who sadly passed away as Micah came into our lives. I had the great pleasure of seeing Howie in action in Australia several times, always superbly handled by Sharon Power. I hope that through Micah his legacy will go on for us here in New Zealand.

Micah eventually gained her title of Champion in March 2025. Following that we mated Micah to Rex for a lovely 'All Black' litter. We retained Zuri (Collievale Zis Way Is Up) and let Micah semi retire to Waipukurau with Brett Nelson. She has now been spayed and is enjoying a spoilt life while occasionally still being seen in the show ring.
