Early on in our plans when Maudie came to be part of our kennels, I had an idea for a mating that I hoped would be special. It took a while for that plan to become a reality but from it we kept Micah. The name Lady Howzat was a tribute to her wonderful grandsire Cathkin Howzat (Howie) who sadly passed away as Micah came into our lives. I had the great pleasure of seeing Howie in action in Australia several times, always superbly handled by Sharon Power. I hope that through Micah his legacy will go on for us here in New Zealand.
Finally growing some coat we have shown Micah several times recently. At Waikato & Districts Collie Club under breed specialist Sandra McMahon from Australia she was awarded Open in Show. We love the way this girl is starting to mature now.
